Get a grip is an educational project in which 3rd ESO students are involved together with students from the Netherlands, Iceland and Scotland. The main goal is the environment and sustainability and seeing that through small local actions can have a global impact. Throughout this academic year, students worki with different projects related to the topics mentioned and then, they have to present their results in different meetings in those countries.
A few days ago, the first group of students arrived from the first meeting in Ermelo (The Netherlands). We have worked in small groups discovering different experiences related to the environment that are carried out in the Dutch high schools. We have also known De Ceuvel playground inAmsterdam a place for innovation and creativity. An experiment in which they try to make sustainability tangible, understandable and fun. Another visit was in Maeslant Storme Surge Barrie in Rotterdam and its big port.
